Here are some of the 'rules of the road' you need to keep in mind as you take your auto passion into overdrive..
Eligibility:
- Participants should be 18 years and above.
- There is no entry fee for participating in the quiz.
- A team consists of two members. Both should be from the same college irrespective of the branch / stream of study. Individual entries will not be entertained.
- Participants should be bona fide students from any legitimate engineering college in India.
Terms and conditions:
- Filling in a valid, consistent and correct contact details in the quiz form is imperative. The e-mail ID and the mobile numbers would be used for all further communication to participants.
- Any number of teams can participate from the same college. However, no member can participate in more than one team.
- All participants should choose the city of their choice where they would like to take the written test.
- Incomplete entry or late entries will result in disqualifications.
- Last date for receiving the entries will be 14th September, 2009.
- After the team registers online, there will be an online confirmation form available which the participants need to carry a printout of the same during the written rounds.
- All teams will be informed about the written round dates and venues through email. Organisers will not be responsible for postal delays, transit losses or any other subsequent correspondence with any engineering colleges.
- All participants should carry their college ID cards for the written rounds and live rounds.
- Grouping of engineering college participants for each leg of the contests will be solely at the discretion of the organisers.
- The participating students must wear their participation-badges during the written and live rounds.
- Teams during the regional and final round will have to adhere to the dress code as suggested by the organisers.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-cashable, non re-routable or non-extendable.
- The winners should be aware that the responsibility of organisers is only to ensure that the winners receive their prizes. Beyond that, organisers are not responsible for any other Liability.
- All prizes shall be subject to the laws of India, including tax regulations, as may be applicable for the winners.
Travel:
- Travel and stay during the written rounds (City Rounds) has to be taken care of by the participants.
- Travel and accommodation during the regional finals and the national finals will be arranged by the organising team.
Mandatory clauses:
- Organisers shall not have any liability whatsoever for any loss or damage of any nature whatsoever incurred (whether directly or indirectly) by any participant in consequence of any cancellation, change, postponement or amendment of the event.
- This quiz is not open to employees or relatives of Mahindra and NDTV.
- The jurisdiction of Mumbai courts will apply.
- Organisers reserve the right to terminate or extend the contest at any time, or to accept or reject entries at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason for the same.
- The decision of the organisers regarding the contest will be final and binding for all participants.
- By participating in this quiz, the participants agree and acknowledge having read and understood all terms and conditions of this quiz.
