Who all can register?
Any bona fide student of an engineering college who is 18 yrs and above can participate in Auto Quotient, India's first national auto quiz.
How do I register for the events?
Each individual should register their team details as per the registration page ('Register' Section) and submit the application online.
Will I have to pay for participating in this event?
No. Registration is free for everyone.
How many people can be part of one team?
A team consists of two members. Both the members should be from the same college, irrespective of the departments.
Can I take part in the AQ online games without registering? No. Everyone has to sign up and register on to the website to take part in the AQ online games.
If I am not an engineering student, can I take part in the event?
No you cannot take part in the events, but can participate in the AQ online games.
If I don't have a valid college ID card, would I be allowed to take part in this event?
No. Each participant in the event should have a valid ID card. In case any participant doesn't have a valid ID card, he/she should have a bona fide certificate duly signed by the college.
Do I require college permission to register for AQ?
To take part in the online games, you don't require your college's permission. But for the main events, it's advisable to intimate your college before travelling to the respective cities.
Can I invite my friends from other engineering colleges to take part in this event?
Yes. You can invite friends to take part as long as they belong to the above mentioned categories.
Will Mahindra / NDTV sponsor my travel cost for the written rounds?
No. Mahindra / NDTV is not responsible for any of the expenses that will be incurred during the written test. However you can enquire with your college for a sponsor.
Will I be provided accommodation during city elimination rounds?
No. Each participant should make their necessary arrangements. Mahindra / NDTV is not responsible for ravel, accommodation or any other expense incurred during this time.
What will be the kind of questions asked in the quiz?
Questions will all centre around the world of automobiles.
Where will the regional rounds happen?
The regional rounds will happen within the NDTV studios. For information regarding the location of the studios, please contact the AQ team.
If I qualify for the regional rounds, will I have to sponsor my own tickets?
No. Mahindra will make the necessary arrangements.
Do I require a valid passport, if I qualify for the regional rounds?
Yes. You are requested to keep your passports ready before the regional rounds. Incase if you don't have the passport and you are not able to arrange for the passports before the date mentioned by the AQ team, you will not be eligible to avail the grand prize or the second prize.
Do the prizes cover air fare and accommodation?
Yes, the prizes are all-expenses paid by Mahindra.
