Your pride. Your team's honour. Your college's respect. The admiration and jealousy of all other auto enthusiasts. And that's just to begin with. After all, the stakes are bound to be high in the ultimate test of auto knowledge.
The first prize for the winners of AQ is a ticket to the Geneva Motor Show, annually held in Switzerland. It's a once in a lifetime chance to be amongst the greatest congregation of auto enthusiasts, looking at some of the greatest machines ever made. The first runners-up will get to feel the heat of some serious off-roading. They'll be sent for the exhilarating experience of dune bashing in Dubai. The second and third runners-up will be sent to a thrilling Mahindra Great Escape, India's favourite 4X4 rally, for exciting escapades through some of the most exotic locations across the country.
Getting these prizes isn't going to be that easy, there'll be various rounds of auto quizzing and teams desperately trying to overtake each other. Here's how it'll all pan out- Auto Quotient will jumpstart with a written test held across 16 cities in various engineering colleges. Those that make the cut here will participate in the live rounds held in each of these cities. One finalist per city will be shortlisted and the 16 teams will be divided into their respective zones for the regional rounds. The competition will go into overdrive at the regional finals where only one team per region will qualify for the all-India finals. At the Grand Finale, young engineering students will battle it out in front of the camera, as the ultimate auto knowledge showdown will be telecast on NDTV.
